About The Presenter: Jan joined Turbine in early 2009 and is responsible for driving global sales and marketing for all of Turbine’s franchises. Jan brings a wealth of marketing and executive leadership experience to Turbine including roles at leading consumer and merchant brand organizations in the Internet, Energy, Telecom and Retail industries. Prior to joining Turbine, Jan served as the founder and CEO of several companies including Gelazzi, Inc., White Summit Strategies, Inc. and Gemini Voice Solutions, Inc. Jan served as Vice President of Marketing for Lycos, Inc., one of the largest and most profitable internet companies with a consumer base of over 40 million monthly visitors. Lycos, which to this day represents the fastest IPO in the history of NASDAQ, was sold to the Spanish conglomerate Terra Networks S.A. in 1999 for $7.5 billion. In his role as Vice President of Consumer Brand Strategy at The Valvoline Company he helped lead widespread organizational and strategic changes which saw the venerable company move from the #5 market share position to the #2 position globally. Horsfall sits on the boards of ConcealFab, LLC and the Colorado Springs Tech Incubator, as well as the Colorado State University Alumni Association. He’s been distinguished with the Honorable Alumni Award at CSU. Jan is a graduate of Colorado State University with an Executive Letter from the University of Indiana.
